<![CDATA[Head of MBA Operations (KD13047)]]> /jobs/rss/click.aspx?ref=KD13047 /jobs/rss/click.aspx?ref=KD13047 About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join the School of Management as Head of MBA Operations. This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of our Professional Services team. Reporting to the School of Management’s Director of Operations, you will provide visionary leadership to the MBA Operations team, which brings together three specialist sub-teams: MBA Recruitment & Admissions, MBA Programmes, and MBA Careers. From attracting top global talent to delivering transformative learning experiences and career outcomes, your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our MBA provision.

Our MBA programme is central to the School’s global reputation and this role is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation of the School’s MBA programme. You will collaborate closely with senior academic leaders including the Associate Dean for Education, the Director of Teaching for MBA Programmes, and the Director of Studies. Together, you’ll align operational delivery with strategic goals, ensuring our students receive an exceptional experience from application to graduation and beyond. Your work will help ensure that our MBA remains globally competitive and renowned for student success.

Key Responsibilities

 • Lead and inspire the MBA Operations team to deliver excellent service in recruitment, programme delivery, and career support.
 • Drive strategic development of MBA provision in partnership with academic and professional services colleagues, contributing to the long-term development of the MBA, ensuring it reflects both academic rigour and market needs.
 • Champion operational excellence, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across all aspects of our MBA provision.
 • Enhance student experience and outcomes, supporting the development of diverse, ambitious cohorts that enhance the School’s global reputation.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a confident and experienced professional with a strong track record in operational leadership, preferably within a higher education or similarly complex environment. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, excellent people management skills, and a deep understanding of the demands and expectations associated with MBA-level education. You will be working at the intersection of strategy, operations, and student success, directly influencing the experience of future business leaders.

You will be:

 • A collaborative leader with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
 • Experienced in collaborating with senior academic and professional colleagues.
 • Strategic and analytical, with the ability to align operational delivery with broader institutional goals.
 • Committed to delivering exceptional student experiences and outcomes.
 • Experienced in handling complex projects and driving service improvements.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of MBA provision at one of the UK’s leading business schools. If you are motivated by impact, thrive on collaboration, and are ready to lead with vision, we would love to hear from you.
